About Bartu Kaleagasi

I am exploring and investing in three areas Space economy: Which technologies should we develop to expand human civilization into space? Earth intelligence: How can we use AI to protect our ecosystems and transform industrial markets? Urban design: What can we do to make our cities more beautiful, more sustainable, more dynamic?In 2016, I co-founded the AIBE Summit and organized one of the world\'s largest conferences on artificial intelligence. I then started my career in venture capital at Seraphim Space. Following this, I joined the European Space Agency (ESA), worked at the Satellite Applications Catapult, and helped to launch the Oxford Space Initiative. More recently, I have established the Center for Space Governance, organized tech events in New York and San Francisco, and co-founded the startup Autoplay AI (raised $2M). I have a Law degree and an MS in Technology Management from University College London, I have been awarded a full-ride scholarship to study at Columbia University, and I am a Fellow at the International Strategy Forum and the Foresight Institute.
