A division of the haute couture embroiderer Montex, Maison d\'art CHANEL, Studio MTX, is positioned in the architecture and interior design market. It offers original creations, blending various techniques and a wide variety of materials, which are incorporated into daring, high-quality architectural projects. These projects range from small-scale objects such as furniture and lighting to larger spaces, including screens, walls, and wall coverings.Founded in the late 1940\'s, the Montex Haute Couture embroidery workshop created Studio MTX in 2013 to explore a new field of expression in embroidery: interior design. By moving embroidery from clothing into space, a new savoir-faire emerges, drawing on the vocabulary of traditional embroidery to develop its own language. The thread becomes a cable, riveting borders on couture, and the sequin evolves into a thermolacquered aluminum module.The Studio offers decorators and interior designers unique materials born from the combination of techniques from different fields of the applied arts, including embroidery, weaving, tapestry, and leatherwork.
