As a company founder of a key industry player, I have reemerged in this niche sector of the building industry with an international leader in tensile membrane structures. Joining the Fabritecture USA team in December 2023, I continue building on my experiences in the tensile membrane and lightweight structure industry dating to when the industry was in its infancy. I bring experience from all facets of the business from owner and founder of Structurflex USA, executing a bootstrapped startup and quickly evolving into a leader in the industry. Brining these experiences and skills to the stage at Fabritecture, will help ensure continued growth in the US market. My experience covers the overall business aspects including executive management, project management, design development, design assist, business and project development and the introduction of wholly new systems to the American market such as the first single layer ETFE systems in North America, as well as the development of the now popularized and highly sought after tensile & textile façade and building screening market. Was also responsible for the establishment of an international business unit in Brazil for the pursuit of stadium facility work for the 2014 FIFA World Cup and 2016 Rio Olympics.I thrive on design development, hands on design assist, budgeting and collaboration with project stakeholders at early stages of a project. Seeking to build upon great international success in the Australia and Pacific regions and a growing presence in the American markets, I am exploring and developing excellent opportunities for the applications of the breadth of systems and materials offered by Fabritecture. Fabritecture offers a solid approach to the American market, having the depth of in-house services including top-of-industry project management and installation, in-house fabrication for PTFE, ETFE and PVC-PES membranes, custom metal façade systems to complement the membrane options, as well as a range of pre-engineered systems and products offered within the Alexander Pacific Group (APG) companies. From stadia and athletic facilities roofs, to transportation center roofs and canopies to parking garage facades and screens, and all things in between, I am excited to be part of Fabritecture becoming the perennial tensile membrane specialty subcontractor in the American market. I am very pleased to be part of this team to deliver turnkey, thoughtful, design assisted, value centric solutions to architects, general contractors and construction managers, and owners alike.
