ABOUT BART GRABSKI

I’m Bart, and I work at the intersection of culture, community, and communication—bringing creative projects to life that connect people, ideas, and stories.I’ve got a background in Public Relations, Higher Education and Fine Art with specialism in Curatorial Practice, and I’m always looking for ways to connect ideas and people across disciplines. Whether it’s through collaborative projects, digital media, or live events.I currently work across two roles that reflect my commitment to interdisciplinary practice and cultural advocacy. At Robert Gordon University, I’m the Digital Media Engagement Coordinator, where I help shape and share stories that highlight the amazing work happening across our academic community. I also coordinate Culture North East, a network that champions collaboration and cultural development across the city and wider region. Through both roles, I support creative communication, strategic engagement, and community impact.Previously, I worked with Ars Electronica and IT:U on the FOUNDING LAB—an international initiative bringing together artists, researchers, and students to explore future-facing ideas and experimental approaches. That experience continues to shape how I work across sectors and disciplines.Outside of that, I produce queer events with Aberdeen Performing Arts and take on freelance projects that explore cultural identity and storytelling. Whether I’m curating a show, mentoring students, or creating content, I care about working with others to create meaningful, inclusive spaces.Always up for a chat—especially if you’re working at the crossroads of culture, community, and social change. Let’s connect!
