Storytelling has always been my driving force—whether through journalism, PR, or corporate communications. As a passionate advocate for train and slow travel, I specialize in crafting stories that inspire people to explore the world at a different pace. I was honored to be named Travel Journalist of the Year 2023 by Columbus Travel, one of the Netherlands’ leading travel magazines. My work appears in publications like Columbus Travel and Salt Magazine, and I run Railtripping.com, where I share stories about fascinating train routes and railway history. Beyond writing, I bring years of experience in tourism PR and corporate communications, particularly in the railway industry. Having worked with Deutsche Bahn, NS, and Eurail, I understand the intersection of travel, mobility, and storytelling. One of my proudest achievements is my bestselling train travel guide, Perron Europa, which has sold nearly copies in the Netherlands.
