Key Responsibilities:Policy Advocacy: Develop and execute comprehensive advocacy strategies to influence policies and regulations impacting the life sciences, agriculture, food, and retail sectors. Engage with U.S. and Indian government officials, regulatory agencies, industry leaders, and other stakeholders to advance USIBC’s policy priorities.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with USIBC members, policymakers, industry associations, and other relevant stakeholders. Represent USIBC at meetings, conferences, and public forums to advocate for member interests and promote bilateral trade.Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis on policy issues, regulatory developments, and market trends affecting the targeted sectors. Prepare policy briefs, white papers, and reports to support advocacy efforts and inform members.Strategic Communications: Develop and implement communication strategies to effectively convey USIBC’s policy positions and advocacy initiatives. Collaborate with the communications team to create compelling content for newsletters, press releases, social media, and other channels.Member Support: Provide personalized support to USIBC members by addressing their policy concerns, facilitating introductions to key stakeholders, and offering strategic advice on navigating regulatory challenges.Event Coordination: Plan and execute high-impact events, such as policy roundtables, industry forums, and delegation visits, to foster dialogue and collaboration between U.S. and Indian stakeholders.Collaboration: Work closely with other USIBC and U.S. Chamber of Commerce teams to align advocacy efforts and leverage resources. Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and support broader organizational goals.
