I am an existential psychotherapist dedicated to guiding individuals, families, and couples on their profound journeys of self-discovery. Prior to my career as a psychotherapist, I\'ve walked an unconventional path. With a business background as a former President of the property and casualty division of a large independent insurance agency and as a Certified Public Accountant, I\'ve seen firsthand the challenges of the corporate world and the toll it can take on one\'s sense of purpose. This journey has equipped me with a deep understanding of the existential struggles many professionals face in the pursuit of success.As an existential psychotherapist, I specialize in delving into the depths of life\'s most difficult questions, assisting clients in uncovering their authentic selves, and providing the support needed to navigate life\'s uncertainties. I believe that understanding the meaning of our existence is the first step towards living a fulfilling life. Whether grappling with personal identity, navigating relationship dynamics, or seeking clarity in your life\'s purpose, I help clients explore, understand, and embrace the profound possibilities of their own journey.While I work with a variety of diagnoses such as mood disorders and OCD, I have specialized training and experience working with those who suffer from both problematic substance use and other process addictions such as gambling and pornography. I believe in meeting patients where they are so I offer both abstinence and moderation treatment strategies.In addition to my own clinical work, I am also a seasoned professional with a proven track record in supervising clinical interns. With 15 years of experience in the field, I have successfully mentored and guided numerous interns through their clinical training to licensure, fostering their professional development and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.My hands-on approach involves providing constructive feedback, facilitating learning opportunities, and cultivating a supportive environment for interns to thrive. Through my leadership, interns have consistently demonstrated growth in their clinical skills and a deepened understanding of ethical practices.
