ABOUT BARRY JONES
Barry Jones, a Managing Director at SierraConstellation Partners, has over 30 years experience across a broad range of financial functions. He specializes in taking CFO roles with distressed companies, and is an expert in the hands on leadership of organizations navigating significant cash constraints. Barry started his career in audit with Baker Tilly in London before moving into corporate and international tax with KPMG, becoming an early specialist in the field of transfer pricing. He was subsequently headhunted by Credit Suisse to lead this area, working globally and developing the ability to analyze the value creation of highly complex businesses. Post Credit Suisse, he attended business school and then spent over a decade working as a CFO in Asia in various industries including financial services, industrial manufacturing and consumer products before relocating to the USA in 2019. Prior to SierraConstellation, Barry was CFO of Parallel, a high profile restructuring in the cannabis industry working with members of the SierraConstellation team. Barry received his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School Of Business and a in Accountancy and Economics from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), and has completed the Chartered Financial Analysis Institute (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) programs.
