Barry consults with firm leaders to clarify, and execute, a holistic approach to partner retirements - aligning a firm’s processes and retirement support to the firm’s strategy and culture. This ensures partners have happy, fulfilling retirements and that the firm retains more clients, revenue and goodwill.Barry helps firms analyse existing practice and expectations, listen to key stakeholders, review metrics and leading practice, recommend improvements and agree an implementation plan. Barry is known for bespoke, holistic and pragmatic solutions, working in partnership with internal specialists, and for embedding changes in processes, culture and partner behaviour. Barry also occasionally delivers partner retirement workshops and mentors individual partners to help clarify and implement the life they want after partnership and to develop a plan to manage their transition successfully.

I help firms and their partners to improve their talent, performance, reward, progression and their approach to retirement. These areas are a real passion of mine.Nowadays I only do this consultancy or coaching work occassionallty - typically for \'old\' friends - as I enjoy a full and active \'retired\' life. However, I\'m always worth a call, as I do love exciting new work in law firms.Previously I was at the heart of leading the strategic, people and cultural aspects of Osborne Clarke’s success from 2006-23. I was also Co-Chair of Learning in Law, a Fellow of CIPD and held senior development and change leadership positions in finance, aerospace, insurance, manufacturing and consulting.
