About Barry Dahl

I\'ve worked in education or education-adjacent jobs since 1982. Teaching Assistant, Faculty, Dean, Vice President, Independent Consultant, EdTech employee. I\'ve seen some things. Nobody really cares. I have a B.S. degree and a Masters in Accounting from Arizona State University, I served as an accounting faculty member at various universities including ASU, Florida Atlantic University, University of Minnesota Duluth, and Lake Superior College (LSC). I left the faculty ranks after 17 years to become the senior administrator in charge of online learning at LSC. As Chief Technology Officer of the college, I had primary responsibility for the Computer Services department, Web and Information Services, and the e-Campus or Lake Superior Connect. I previously served as the 2006-07 Chair for the Minnesota Online Council within the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (now Minnesota State). Ancient history. Nobody cares.    My position at D2L allows me to continue working directly with educators across the globe. My main duties include facilitating the D2L Teaching & Learning Webinar Series, coordinating and hosting the D2L Connection regional events, and planning for the customer-led breakout sessions at our annual Fusion global conference.
