Over 30 years of shipping experience including all aspects of spot and term chartering (including operations, demurrage, etc.). Extensive experience with FFA trading (both from a hedging and proprietary trading perspective), and personally instrumental in the initiation and growth of the Tanker FFA market, including a tenure as the Chairman of the Baltic Exchange Freight User\'s Group. Particularly successful in a fast-paced, global trading company environment. Has run successful teams of traders/charterers/operators at financial institutions and commodity supply and trading organisations. Primary exposure has been in the tanker markets, but has held responsibility for dry cargo FFA trading/broking. Has considerable expertise in sourcing, analyzing, and delivering financial investment opportunities in the shipping, commodity, real estate, and luxury goods sectors, including the origination and delivery of bespoke architectural and interior design projects for hotels, clubs, offices, private residences, airplanes, and yachts.
