Responsible for developing a product roadmap for all DIRECTV and AT & T products. Critical part of the team responsible for winning new business at DIRECTV/AT & T, which includes writing RFQ responses, developing cost models, creating pricing strategies and planning lifetime business models. Responsible for creating product definitions and leading new products from concept through early engineering/prototypes. This role requires close interaction with customers to understand their long term business and technology needs and suppliers to understand the industry and market trends. Maintaining detailed technical knowledge on video, broadband and wireless technologies is critical to providing a counseling role for the customer. Successfully launched products include the DIRECTV C41W, C41, H44, C51 and C61 with multiple new STB and Data Gateway products in the pipeline for new product introduction in 2017 and 2018.
