Develop HR strategic and operational plans that align with University goals and objectives. • Establish the strategic direction in the areas of the Talent Management & Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition & Compensation, Benefits & Wellness, and HRIS by developing annual goals and long-term objectives. • Provide strategic consultation and guidance to all levels of administration, faculty, and staff, concerning organizational restructures and employee relations matters. • Lead the overall recruitment strategy of the University by administering an effective recruitment program by examining trends to anticipate the University’s current and future needs for talent. • Directs activities related to employee benefit policies, objectives, and initiatives to attract and retain employees. • Provide council to University administrators, deans, heads of departments, and supervisors on HR management solutions regarding: organizational restructures, compensation, staffing needs, job performance, behavioral concerns, policy interpretation, job evaluation, and departmental operations. • Ensure continuous improvement, and implementation of HRIS solutions (e.g, Workday HCM, TeamDynamix project management, and Workday e-Recruiting applicant tracking system, Workday Talent Management, Workday Learning). • Develop, update, and interpret University policies while ensuring policies and procedures meet best practices, are consistent with federal regulations and align with the University’s mission and core commitments.
