TRANSWESTERN ROLEAs Senior Chief Engineer, Barry oversees the maintenance and every day operation of over square feet of both office and industrial space in Austin. His responsibilities include the supervision of Eleven engineers, coordination of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and construction projects. Barry joined Transwestern in HIGHLIGHTSBarry has been performing all phases of building maintenance, repairs, and scheduling since 1984. As such he has gained extensive knowledge of commercial / retail buildings, all associated equipment, and operations.In 1991 Barry was promoted to Director of Maintenance at West Towne Mall in Madison, WI. West Towne Mall is an enclosed shopping center with approximately one million-sq. ft. under roof and a 135-acre parcel. Barry has received Transwestern awards for “Legendary Service” (2005), “Austin Outstanding Achievement” and “Austin Team of the Year” (2004 and 2005), “Austin Building Engineer of the Year” (2003).
