Promoted from previous role to lead a brand new, combined UPS strategic Sourcing Team that is responsible for supporting all strategic sourcing initiatives for $6 Billion of annual procurement spend across all procurement categories including Indirect (to include Software & IT Hardware), Transportation/Logistics & Direct Materials. Responsible to deliver exceptional value add to the organization in terms of cost savings, compliance, innovation, driving supplier diversity programs while supporting operational & customer fulfillment- Serving as a key business partner, thought leader and internal consultant who appropriately challenges the status quo to unlock the hidden value potential as well as align and build new innovative processes - Successfully led transition of 3 previously separate sourcing teams into 1 newly merged Strategic Sourcing Team supporting all categories of procurement spend that has exceeded expectations for support and value delivery- Support execution and achievement of UPS One Procurement value delivery goals of $122M in cost savings- Lead team in driving execution of large scale Transportation & Logistics RFPs/negotiations- Led team to successfully execute 127 key strategic sourcing RFP initiatives in areas such as construction, global corporate card, Software & IT Hardware, Facilities, MRO/Consumables, fuel, transportation & Logistics (ground, air cargo, & warehousing)- Lead effort to redesign Global Fuel RFP process used to support competitive bid events for $200M+ in Jet fuel requirements.
