As Director of Public Policy at Leonard D. Schaeffer Center for Health Policy & Economics, and the Managing Advisor at Patient Voice Advisors, I leverage my legal background and extensive experience in the medical device industry to advocate for the incorporation of patient voices into healthcare policy and decisions. I have a passion for improving patient outcomes and experiences through innovative and collaborative solutions that address the needs and preferences of diverse stakeholders.With over 10 years of strategic engagement in the medical device industry, I have developed a strong expertise in the science of patient input, patient advocacy, public affairs, and policy analysis. I have successfully led and supported multiple initiatives to engage with, learn from, and empower patients, patient groups, and industry partners. I have also contributed to the advancement of health policy and economics research and education as an adjunct faculty and associate professor at Georgetown University and the University of Southern California.
