After graduating high school in 1976 Barry owned and operated an 18 wheeler hauling steel around the midwest and later citrus from Florida to Canada.In 1978, Barry joined the Air Force, after his honorable discharge he went on to study accounting & marketing at the University of Cincinnati. While attending school he was a member of the Veterans Club and chaired the Campus Concert Committee.During his sophomore year at UC Barry started his career in the live concert touring industry at Manticore Sound & Lights. In 1984, after being employed as an non-touring production assistant for Prince\'s \"Purple Rain Tour\", Luther Vandross\'\"Night I fell in Love Tour\" and Motley Crue\'s,\"Theatre of Pain Tour\", Barry relocated to Los Angeles and was hired as VP of Chicago-based db Sound. In 1995 Barry became an owner and the CEO of db and in 2004 sold his portion to pursue real estate. During Barry\'s 20+ years with db he helped to grow it into one of the largest concert/event sound & production companies in the industry providing worldwide services to clients as diverse as The Allman Brothers Band, Harry Belafonte, Donna Summer, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Metallica, Prince, Aerosmith, Barney the Dinosaur and many many others.From 20••••15, Barry owned the Train West Hollywood gym.Barry spent the first part of 2005 Barry producing the Force of Nature tsunami fundraiser concert in KL, Malaysia. In 2007 Barry obtained his real estate license and has enjoyed being a realtor more than he could have imagined.
