Barron Wallace is a Partner at Bracewell LLP and Co-Chairs its Public Finance Section. His practice focuses on public finance, urban infrastructure and transportation development, and public/private partnerships. Barron\'s experience spans traditional municipal finance, tax increment finance, urban redevelopment, and public law. He has been honored repeatedly as one the “Best Lawyers in America” for Public Finance.Barron is very active in civic leadership. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, the Museum of Fine Arts-Houston, Houston Parks Board, YMCA of Greater Houston, St. John\'s School, and Discovery Green-Downtown Park Corporation.    Serve as bond counsel to state agencies; cities, school districts and community colleges throughout Texas.Serve as bond counsel to the Houston airport systems relating to revenue bonds, commercial paper programs and special facilities matters.Serve as bond counsel to the Regional Mobility Authorities.Serve as bond counsel and special counsel to various local government corporations and special districts.Represent regional and national underwriters and commercial banks relating to general obligation, revenue, project finance, transportation, and other transactions.Represent tax increment reinvestment zones responsible for stimulating over a billion dollars of new investment.Represent and advise developers on urban development and various tax incentives and/or grants relating to public/private partnerships.
