Place UK are a 2nd generation family fruit farming business, based in North Norfolk, that has developed and diversified over the years to grow into what we are now > In its simplest form, we have 4 key areas to the business:1. Fresh Fruit – this is our soft fruit growing and packing operation. 95% of our fresh fruit goes into the UK retail market and we are part of a growers consortium that feeds into this network.2. IQF / Frozen Fruit – we supply our IQF bulk fruits into the manufacturing sector as well as our retail pack offering for the retail market. 90% of the fruit used is imported and we have a strong network and supply chain for this process.3. IQF Pasta & Rice – our IQF Pasta and Rice are blanch cooked and IQF frozen, presenting a RTE solution for caterers and chefs throughout the industry. The product can be thawed (pasta salads), microwaved and eaten, and pan cooked (hot meals) and presents convenience with quality and consistency. IQF Pulses & Grains - Phaseolus – we buy in the dry raw material, for example; red kidney beans, chick peas and lentils; and soak, blanch cook and IQF as a ready to eat format. Perfect for usage within meals, salads, dips and soups. Available in the following formats- Retail packs: 150g to 1.5kg- Manufacturing / Catering packs: 2.5kg to 18kgAll processed in our BRC AA accredited facilities here in the UK.
