At Midlands Technical College, we’re a forward-thinking, proactive college that believes in real-world experiences and hands-on training in a diverse environment.We are redefining what a technical college is, through the range of programs we offer, partnerships with local employers, and facilities with high-tech equipment–including some you won’t find anywhere else in the state.Currently serving as Provost, I act as the second in command to the President and lead 844 full and part-time employees.At MTC, we’re preparing our students for the workforce of today while staying ahead of trends so that they’re prepared for the workforce of tomorrow.

We are redefining what a technical college is, through the range of programs we offer, the outstanding faculty we employ, partnerships with local employers, and facilities with high-tech equipment–including some you won’t find anywhere else in the state.I was tapped by President Rhames as the college\'s first Provost and, in collaboration with the President, State Technical College System, and the Midlands Technical College Commission, deliver strategic leadership across all divisions.I have direct responsibility for Academic Affairs, Corporate and Continuing Education, Economic Development, and Student Success and Retention with 120+ education and training programs in eight schools of study.I’ve played a number of key roles within MTC – from leading our COVID-19 response, representing us in the community, bolstering our enrollment, and building a diverse leadership pipeline.
