Responsible for Banking Group Tax department including 8 legal entities running different financial business (Lending, Leasing, CQS, Factoring, Rental, NPL and Servicing). Direct reporting to CFO and leading a team of 4 Tax specialists.TAX POLICY AND TAX COMPLIANCE ACTIVITY- Manage tax risk with appropriate control and monitoring procedures (Tax Risk Framework)- Supervise accurate and timely tax compliance for Corporate Income Tax, VAT and all other indirect taxes- Ensure proper recognition and measurement of Tax Asset (Current and DTA under local accounting principles (OIC), international accounting standards (IFRS)- Effective Tax Rate analysis/planning in Stat and Tax Accounting- Provide adequate transfer pricing analysis (National Country files) to ensure fair market value to all intercompany transactions TAX ADVISORY AND TRAINING ACTIVITY- Provide accurate tax assistance and advice for Corporate restructuring (M&A, Contribution in kind, merger, spin-off, going concern transfer), Portfolio Securitization and SPV, Debt restructuring, loan recovery plan, debt-equity conversion, new financial instruments, new product for the customers, assets acquisition and extraordinary project- Support tax planning strategy by ensuring that tax implications are properly analyzed and taken in considerations - Offer professional tax advisory and consultancy- Provide prompt and constant tax update to the business by organizing dedicated tax meeting and internal tax training on specific topics for different kind of audience (Sales, Finance, Risk, Collection) TAX AUDIT AND LITIGATION ACTIVITY- Manage all tax audit and related litigation in conjunction with external lawyers- Ensure correct and prompt information to the relevant stakeholders (Senior Leadership team, Board of Directors, Statutory Auditors and Risk Committee)
