I am responsible for Third Party Risk Management and transformation across BGIUK and Group Functions Procurement (a 1LOD senior management level position). Key responsibilities: Leading and developing a team of 2x Third Party Risk Managers and a Supplier Assurance Consultant; Delivering continuous supplier assurance and enhancing supplier oversight in alignment with regulatory and organisational drivers; Supporting the Procurement Function in achieving organisational objectives through a risk-based approach to supplier management; Regular reporting across the organisation; and operating and enhancing the supplier risk management system.I was previously a Risk Manager within the People Team (1LOD), and prior to this I worked in the Enterprise Risk Management team (a 2LOD Business Partnering and Enterprise Risk role in the insurance business) at Bupa.(Jan 22 - June 23) As a People Risk Manager I supported the delivery of the risk management strategy through effective management and development of the risk and incident framework. Key responsibilities included: Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA); Incident Management; Policy Compliance; Reporting (from local forums to Group level); Project/ Programme support and implementation; and Risk/ Incident training.(Apr 19 - Dec 21) Whist in the Enterprise Risk Management team I worked both in an ERM and an Operational Risk capacity, and was the allocated Risk Business Partner to numerous business areas. Key responsibilities included: Training and guidance including risk registers; Project support and incident management; Completing the annual policy compliance process (ICRMA) for a number of policies, and managing the 2020 process; Top Risk Reporting- providing challenge and guidance; Managing Exec Risk Committee submissions; Frameworks and Operating Models- enhancing and writing associated board papers to obtain the required committee approval; Enhancements to risk processes and improving our ways of working.
