About Erica Barnett

As a Program Manager for novel R&D and O&M projects, I connect customer needs with engineering solutions and manage to ensure project success. I began my career as an Embedded Software Engineer working in the Medical Device industry and Defense industry where my experiences spanned software development for low power devices and Software Task Leadership. My past roles on numerous programs allowed me the opportunity to be an integral part of the full lifecycle of products; from software design and development, system integration with hardware and user interfaces, testing and debugging, to delivery and product maintenance. I have transitioned these technical and leadership skills from engineering to a PMO as a Program Manager where my work entails managing program schedule, budget, EVM, resource allocation, team personnel, technical performance, risk management, strategic planning efforts, technical documentation, customer engagement, and proposal development. My educational background in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University, allows me to work and communicate within cross disciplinary teams. As I continue to gain knowledge and experience in leadership, product development, and program management, I look forward to being involved in emerging technologies and advancements.
