Winner of 2017 Shamsher Prakash Award for Excellence in Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering. Experienced in Civil, Geotechnical, Marine, Offshore and Earthquake Engineering. Responsible for all aspects of Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering and Soil Dynamics in Mott MacDonald’s London office. Manages a team of specialist geo seismic engineers within Motts. She has acted as lead Geo Seismic Specialist in several prestigious projects across the world. She is often tasked with producing basis of design documents for different near shore and offshore projects.Has a strong academic background with practical experience in delivering value to clients in understanding and mitigating seismic hazards in their projects and manages the seismic skills discussion group within Mott MacDonald. Has been a part of the earthquake field investigation team (EEFIT) following the Nepal earthquake in 2015.Has also worked part time as an adviser for the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology (POST) UK, after being awarded a fellowship by the Royal commission of the Exhibition of 1851.Has been extensively published in different international journals, is invited speaker in many seismic conferences and has recently contributed few chapters in the book ‘Design of foundations in seismic areas-Principles and Applications’ published by NISEE. Also taught parts of the geotechnical earthquake engineering course at University College London as an honorary lecturer.Committee member for ADVANCE, the network for inclusion of diversity and women in Mott MacDonald.
