ABOUT BARNABY MARTIN

As a successful PMP certified Project Engineer, I maintain a track record of success in forging and maintaining strategic relationships to deliver challenging projects to top-tier international companies including Gyrodata, Baker Hughes, Schlumberger, Halliburton, Total, BP, and Chevron. Among my talents are an ability to collaborate with and manage cross-functional teams to achieve excellence in service delivery, and to develop innovative solutions that reduce project timelines, generate savings, and drive new opportunities. While others strive to meet the standards set before them, I am driven to deliver services that go beyond expectations. I tackle projects with meticulous planning and innovative solutions based on my expertise in Gyro While Drilling (GWD), Measurement While Drilling (MWD), Logging While Drilling (LWD), Remote Operations Command (ROC), and Wireline Services. Some highlights from my career include: I organized offshore teams and equipment to survey 23 new conductors on the Moho Nord field, offshore Congo, in less than one month with no Non-Productive Time (NPT) or service quality issues. As a result of this success, we were awarded 17 additional projects valued at ~$2M. I successfully implemented the first ever GCAAT high angle drop technology on the Tux drillship in Congo as an innovative solution to reduce the Ellipse of Uncertainty (EOU). This survey solution resulted in 18 hours of time saved per well and also secured future drilling projects with Total. I planned and executed the first ever MicroGuide (MGL) service in the Europe, Africa, and Caspian region. Based on the success of this project, more than a dozen similar projects in the Congo were initiated, generating ~$500K in additional revenue.Dual national with UK and Australian citizenship.
