Started doing creative things and accepting new challenges from very beginning of carrier as a researcher, explored the role of small RNAs (miRNAs) in plant signaling pathway and discovered miRNAs responsive to elevated temperature driven shoot to root signaling in plants (filed in Indian Patent). Worked on transgenic approach for improvement of Pigeonpea against pod borer damage during PhD at Institute of Agri-Biotechnology, UAS, Dharwad.In commercial house, understanding raising challenges in vegetable breeding, from last 8 years involved in Hot pepper and Tomato crop breeding at esteemed organizations (Rallis India & Ankur Seeds). Successfully exploited opportunities to strengthen classical breeding with Molecular markers, Physiology and Genomics assisted approaches. Good team player with people management and problem solving skills. Proactive in learning new innovative knowledge and its effective implementation in achieving sustainable research out comes that will have an impact on the society.
