ABOUT BARKAT SINGH

Innovation is like looking for pieces in a jigsaw puzzle. You have to find a lot of pieces that don\'t match to find the one or two pieces that match.“ Hi, I am an ambitious Full-Stack Developer and designer with a robust background in Applied Mathematics and Information Technology from the University of Toronto, my technical proficiency spans HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, jQuery, and more, complemented by developer tools like Git, GitHub Actions, and Firebase. My leadership and strategic judgment have been proven through managing agile teams and delivering successful full-stack projects, from conceptualization to deployment. I possess a unique blend of exceptional problem-solving skills, efficient coding abilities, and a keen eye for design portrayed through my use of technologies such as Adobe XD, Illustrator, Unity, Maya, XD, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Figma, After Effects, etc which have enabled me to craft solutions that are both effective and aesthetically pleasing. Some of these include \"Sweet Scape\",\"Happy Music Video\",\"Sweet Teeth\",\"Sneak Attax\", etc. ‍ I thrive in collaborative environments, always seeking to learn from others, inspire, and be inspired. My commitment to innovation is driven by a belief in the potential of young tech talent to create transformative solutions. Whether leading project teams such as \"Seraj Society\", and \"Studio X\" at the UofT Web Dev Club, designing responsive web applications such as \"Film Bucket\", and \"Butterfly at Humber College, or enhancing user engagement by creating tag features as a Junior Software Engineer Intern at Jupitice, my focus has always been on leveraging technology to solve real-world problems. ‍ My other interests extend to playing poker with friends, bodybuilding, thrifting, experimenting with cooking and reading self-help books. A fun fact about me is that when I put my mind to something, I tend to surprise not only others but also myself.
