I bring eight years of safety-critical embedded-systems experience, with a deep focus on automotive. At Auto (Tier-1 supplier), I serve as deputy lead of the Software-Update team, partnering closely with major German OEMs to keep millions of ADAS ECUs secure and up-to-date.Core focus • End-to-end software-update orchestration on multi-chip ECUs—from flash bootloader architecture and memory-layout strategy up through AUTOSAR diagnostics, DoIP gateways, and application-level policies. • Day-to-day technical leadership: guiding a cross-functional team, coordinating suppliers, and shaping customer-specific update concepts that span every software layer.Technical strengths • Flash bootloaders: expert in designing update flows, handling intermediate loaders, and mitigating layout migrations without bricking devices. • Memory subsystems: extensive hands-on configuration and integration of NOR- and eMMC-based storage, including complex partition schemes and wear-leveling constraints. • Secure flashing (IVD – Integritäts-Verifikation der Daten): implemented and validated the full routine set to ensure post-flash integrity. • AUTOSAR Classic integration: • Networking stack: TCP/IP, SOAD, DoIP gateway • Diagnostics & error handling: DCM, DEM, custom CDDs • Bridged low-level hardware quirks with high-level update logic via bespoke Complex Device Drivers.Next stepI’m open to Principal Engineer, Software Architect, or formal Team-Lead positions where comprehensive knowledge of flash bootloaders, diagnostics, and OTA update strategy can accelerate safe, reliable deliveries in automotive, aerospace, or defence.
