Barclay Cornell is Senior-Vice President of Corporate Services, Technology and Operations for CIBC. In this role, Barclay is responsible for global procurement, supplier governance, and corporate real estate. Barclay’s mandate is to effectively manage the procurement and real estate operations supporting CIBC’s strategy of building a relationship-oriented bank for a modern world by focusing on our clients, innovating for the future and simplifying the way we operate. Barclay and his team strive to achieve Service Excellence by building strong and trusted business partner relationships and delivering on the objectives of timeliness, cost effectiveness, quality, and strong governance. He was most recently Senior-Vice President of Client Experience and Client Care, Client Connectivity & Innovation at CIBC. Barclay joined CIBC in 1989 and has held various senior roles in the organization predominately in the Strategy and Corporate Real Estate areas. He received his BA degree from Ryerson University in Applied Geography.
