ABOUT BARBORA PAVLIKOVA

I always knew that I wanted to work within the healthcare field, but never thought it would be dental hygiene. I was born in Slovakia and grew up in a village. Dental care was not a priority at that time. When our family moved to the US, we finally went to the dentist. One experience was all it took for me to realize how important it was to take better care of my teeth - plus I never wanted to go through the process of filling another cavity again! LOL. As I got older, I learned the connection between oral health and overall well-being and knew this is what I wanted to do. I enjoy utilizing my interpersonal skills to help patients feel more comfortable but at the same time, reaching their optimal oral health. Over the last 10 years, I have met many wonderful people along my journey and have helped brighten the smiles of many patients; this is why I enjoy doing this everyday.
