Barbara has over twenty years of tax exempt organization/nonprofit legal and senior executive experience, organizational planning, and governance strategy and compliance expertise for 501(c)(3) public and private charities, 501(c)(4) and political organizations. Barbara has served as General Counsel, Senior Executive, Board Secretary, Chief Human Resource Officer and SVP of Organizational Planning. As a corporate executive she leverages her legal background to make progress on programmatic, financial, structural and other mission objectives. She aligns strategic and management/operations plans with board governance priorities to strengthen the parallel contributions of board and staff. She brings a clear, direct and ethical management style to her work as a trusted legal counselor and advisor to staff, executives and board members. Barbara\'s 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4) and other tax-exempt (including political organization) experience spans strategic planning, multi-organizational structure, regulatory, ethics and lobbying compliance, contracts management and negotiations, litigation management, intellectual property, joint ventures and more. Her human resource experience brings innovative approaches to talent management.
