About Barbara Ward
Senior Executive Leader in Healthcare, State Government, Federal Government and extensive public speaking I have worked in the health care industry including senior executive level positions in acute care hospitals, military hospitals, teaching health care systems and in health insurance including case management. My experience also includes positions in state and federal government. Over the span of my career I have become an outstanding public speaker as a motivational speaker, on topics such as women leaders, veterans and career planning. In my present position, I speak at major conferences, serve on panels speaking on veteran specific issues and present workshops. My journey as an adjunct faculty member began in 1996 and I have taught graduate and undergraduate business courses, health care courses and public policy courses. Currently teach online courses. Due to the diversity of my background, experience and education, I am interested in consulting opportunities, developing course curriculum, teaching and counseling/mentoring opportunities. I have worked in the non-profit environment and have served on several boards as a member and officer.
