ABOUT BARBARA TERENGHI
At Edison since 1997, Barbara Terenghi has held several managerial positions in the Human Resources Division; in 2007 she assumed the responsibility of the Development, Training and Compensation Department.From 2016 to 2020, as Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer, she led the company’s Transformation Team, a cross-divisional programme promoting the sustainable energy transition across the corporate culture.In 2021 she was appointed Director of Sustainability and, since that year, she has been a member of the EOS Foundation’s Board of Directors, established by Edison in 2021 with the aim of creating social value in the territories through social innovation.In July 2022, she joined the Edison Executive Committee with the responsibility of the Sustainability Division; she also acts as the CEO’s Office Director.In Edison she complements the Scientific Committee of the Digital Academy, Edison’s permanent training programme on digital innovation.Since 2022 she has been serving on the Board of Directors of the United Nations Global Compact Italian Network.In Oct. 2023, she has been appointed Co-Chair, Programme Committee (20••••24) and Chair, Programme Committee of the World Energy Council for the 20••••27 office period.She belongs to the InTheBoardroom network, made up of over 380 women who have attended the Higher Education programme for executives (X class).She began her career in consulting companies specialised in Human Capital & Compensation.She graduated in Business Administration at Luigi Bocconi University in Milan.
