   Provides supervision and oversight of system wide credentialing and privileging which includes the Central Verification Organization (CVO) and four medical staff offices. In addition, is responsible for other medical staff related activities including but not limited to medical staff events and support of physician leaders. Plans, prepares, and leads ongoing departmental staff meetings. Responsible for more complex assignments within the Medical Staff Office. Supervises and trains staff. Coordinates all credentialing reports. Under the direction of the Director, has oversight of the Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE) program and Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE) program to ensure regulatory compliance. Responsible for delegated credentialing audits to ensure compliance with health insurance plans. Participated in LEAN in the CVO to create efficiencies. Assisted with the integration of the credentialing process due to the purchase of a new hospital. Adheres to system and department compliance policies, and all applicable laws and regulations. Have oversight of seven employees, 2,500+ credentialed practitioners, and numerous referring providers.
