   Physical Scientist/NETL Certified Technical Project Officer II in the Vehicle Technology Office of the Department of Energy managing cooperative agreements in support of various research projects for batteries and battery recycling 2nd life applications. I work with executives and professors to negotiate new awards and review budgets to ensure costs are allowable, allocable, and reasonable. I\'m responsible for overall project management to ensure the project meets the goals agreed upon by the recipient and the department of energy. I also perform site visits to review projects to ensure progress as per the agreed upon terms and conditions of the award. I have been the lead of Notification of Funding Opportunities and also a Topic Area Lead. As part of a team for the implementation of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, I was a recipient of The Secretary of Energy Achievement Award for issuing the first Funding Opportunity for Energy Effieciency and Renewable Energy department.
