I’m a human resources leader with extensive experience in strategic talent acquisition, employee relations, diversity recruiting and management, succession planning, change management, labor relations, and performance management. As Senior Regional HR Director at ArchCare the Continuing Care Community of the Archdiocese of New York, this role allows me to provide a full delivery of HR services to specific regions and disciplines throughout the organization. Prior to joining ArchCare, I worked for Home Depot for six years. During my time with HD-USA as a Store HR Manager I was primarily assigned to stores struggling with employee morale and/or staffing issues. As I learned the core of the business, I made sure to build relationships with leaders and direct line staff. Together we created and executed increased efforts in the areas of diversity, inclusion, and recognition. I was influential in educating and engaging others to develop strategic plans and lead corporate initiatives. Subsequently, these stores’ morale, engagement, and hiring trends led to store productivity, sales achievements, and higher retention of store associates.My strongest attributes as an HR professional are fostering and building relationships with people at all levels. I’m a stronger communicator and believe in networking, deploying, and empowering others to always work as a team as well as individual contributors of their own successes and path towards excellence. I also believe that as a leader, I must always lead by example, which means that I must be willing to cultivate others, lead with accountability, listen with a critical ear, and follow through on my commitments.
