About Barbara Mulroy
Throughout her professional career, Barbara successfully created, developed, deployed and directed growth plans for individual businesses, projects, programs and associations utilizing strategic marketing principals. As an economic development professional, she has worked to increase bottom lines for corporations, associations, member businesses and communities. Experienced in Association Management, Barbara most recently served as Executive Director of Associated General Contractors of Southeast Texas. She relocated to the Southeast Texas area, networked nationally, statewide and locally to learn the industry, then organized and supported industry-related programs, targeted public relations/branding strategies and industry-wide networking to leverage and establish a little-known commercial construction trade association chapter with 183 member businesses into a region-wide leader in economic development. Under Barbara\'s direction, Associated General Contractors of Southeast Texas now represents over 400 commercial and industrial construction companies: architects; engineers; general contractors; specialty contractors and suppliers, with a combined employment of over wage-earning taxpayers, in a five county region.
