Spearheaded end-to-end, cross-functional team from Solutions, Engineering, IT, Project Management and Lifecycle Performance Services to implement highly automated $248M solution transforming leading retail client’s brick-and-mortar operations into an omnichannel distribution system capable of processing 800k units per day.• Led team of 5 project managers implementing solution including US’s largest AutoStore system (4 grids, 1.225M bins, over 1K robots and 154 workstations), 20 miles conveyor, 3 singulators, 6 shoe sorters, 210k+ pocket GOH system, 55 auto-packaging machines, 28 vertical lifts, 4 level active pick module, pallet flow module, and monorail among other automation.• Provided client and FORNTA executive leadership project updates and risks / mitigation strategies during weekly program updates.• Developed and implemented Design Change Request process to track all design changes requested by client• Coordinated with local AHJ and general contractor to ensure 2.4M sq. ft. greenfield facility (US’s 6th largest warehouse) was built to specifications required for highly automated facility and accordance with building codes • Managed the RFP development, submittal, evaluation and negotiations for FORTNA purchases and for client’s direct buys for strategic purchases. Managed relationship with selected automation suppliers and installers. • Supported integration and testing of Manhattan Active (MAWM), FORNTA WES, and 3rd party WCS.• Leveraged existing and developed new project management tools to drive standardization and centralization of key project schedule, scope and budget documentation across the broader project management team. • Managed team of project managers from hiring, training, and evaluation / development.
