About Barbara Hoey
I have been practicing labor and employment law on the management side for over 20 years, and have just re-joined the great firm of Kelley Drye & Warren to chair its Labor & Employment practice group. I am a management side employment lawyer, and represent employers in all areas of labor/employment law, including counseling, labor relations and collective bargaining, internal investigations and the defense of all types of empoyment litigation. I love litigation and have tried over a dozen cases to verdict. I also like to keep my clients out of court, by helping them navigate what has become an increasingly-complex maze of employment laws. Specialties: Trial and arbtiration work; mediation; strategic advice in complex and difficult employment disputes; compliance with state and federal employment laws.
