WORK HISTORY
Executive Director @Mcauley Ministries
Providence, RI, US
Working with the McAuley Ministries Board of Trustees, Sisters of Mercy leadership, and dedicated staff, volunteers, and donors to provide assistance with the basic needs of food, housing, clothing, and other support services for the most vulnerable individuals and families in our community. In delivering its mission, McAuley Ministries operates three distinct ministries through our core values of Hospitality, Compassion, and Dignity. Jim Hummel, The Hummel Report and Providence Journal, produced this video Spotlite of the McAuley Ministries in Rhode Island. McAuley House is a meal site and social services center that serves upwards of nutritious meals each year. It is open to guests Monday through Friday to provide food, fellowship, enrichment programming, and much-needed social services in a safe and comforting atmosphere.• McAuley Village is a two-year, residential family-building program for single mothers and their children inclusive of an on-site Child Care Learning Center. The program uses innovative and proven models to move families out of poverty and into a life of self-sufficiency through education and workforce development. Over the past five years alone, McAuley Village has enjoyed a success rate three times that of the national rate.• The Warde-robe is McAuley Ministries’ thrift store ministry in Central Falls, offering quality, gently- used clothing and household goods to working families and individuals who have difficulty making ends meet.
