Barbara is an industry leader and award-winning designer. She believes that design should not only offer aesthetic appeal, but also must perform as a returning asset that creates value, enhances the work environment and contributes to the human spirit.Working with top companies to envision new approaches to their workplace, she is a trailblazer in designing innovative law firms throughout the country and abroad, resulting in many long-term relationships and repeat clients. Her work has been published in Interior Design, Interiors, Daily Law Journal, The Wall Street Journal, California Law Business and Legal Management, and she has been an invited speaker for both the design and legal industries.She served as a Firmwide leader of Gensler’s Professional Service Firms Practice Area and was elected as a Fellow to the College of Law Practice Management in acknowledgement of her contribution to the advancement of law firm design. Barbara’s expanded portfolio includes projects with entertainment, technology, financial, and media clients bringing a fresh perspective and current thinking to all her work.Education and mentoring are her way of giving back to a profession. She takes her responsibility to grow the next generation seriously, encouraging young professionals and students to challenge themselves and elevate the industry.
