Fresh Artists mission is to promote access for all children to the transformative self-expression of art making and philanthropy. We do this by engaging children as full partners in philanthropy, by widely exhibiting children’s’ artwork in unexpected, high visibility places and by providing art supplies and innovative art programs to children in severely under-resourced public schools.How Fresh Artists Works• Fresh Artists identifies extraordinary K-12 art and invites the children to donate the use of this art to help other children. The art is licensed, photographed and returned to the children. The child permanently retains the copyright and ownership of the original art. • Then Fresh Artists accepts corporate and individual contributions to fund the delivery of art supplies and programs to severely under-resourced public schools. • As a thank-you, donors may choose large-scale, high resolution, digital reproductions of the children’s art for display in their facilities• It is a unique circle of giving where children’s art fulfills a corporate need and raises funds and community support for future art making.
