No hospital or healthcare organization wants to be in the news because of a data breach or because they were selected for a regulatory audit and were not prepared or found to not be compliant; Organizations are finding themselves unprepared and in the news after a data breach or audit and this can have negative ramifications to an organization’s image and reputation. Furthermore, large data breaches and audits can have large monetary implications as well. With the right documention, systems, monitoring, awareness and proper governance and protocols, these types of situations can be minimized or avoided.But avoiding these types of disasters takes expertise, experience, leadership and a big salary committment, right?
