Barbara Brown is the senior partner in the Employment Law practice in the Washington D.C. office of Paul Hastings. Barbara is a class action litigator who has handled the defense of dozens of employment class actions over the past 30 years, alleging gender, race, and age discrimination. I am very active in the pay equity area and perform audits and defend cases alleging gender bias in compensation. When I am not litigating, I am conducting investigations, particularly in the sexual harassment and retaliation areas.    I am the senior employment litigator in the Washington, D.C. office of Paul Hastings LLP. I advise and defend companies and other employers when they are sued for alleged discrimination by individuals or in class actions. I also provide advice on best practices for EEO compliance and work on executive employment agreements and terminations. I defend whistleblower retaliation cases and advise on a wide range of issues pertaining to government contractors. I chaired the office for 12 years, during a period of great growth and expansion.
