I am privileged to provide leadership to forward our EID Regional and National strategies and tactics as I\'m truly passionate about this work. Our mission is to empower our KPNW employees to serve as EID advocates to champion inclusive work environments, foster equitable organizational dynamics, and deliver culturally competent care for all members. This work is fundamental in addressing the reality of long-standing systemic, systematic racism in organizations, communities, and society. It is a critical enabler to exceptional organizational culture which translates to culturally responsive care, a \"best place to work\", and social change in communities and society.

ABOUT BARBARA BELK
Recognized in Becker’s Hospital Review (5/19/23, Falvey, Wallace) list of 86 DEI Leaders in the U.S. for uplifting diverse populations and enhancing health equity at their organizations and within their communities. As the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) for the Pacific NW Market at Kaiser Permanente, I lead and execute the regional and national strategies and tactics to foster a culture of inclusion, equity, and diversity across the organization. With over 20 years of experience in leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and change management, I am passionate about empowering our employees to serve as DEI advocates and deliver culturally competent care for all members. My core competencies include strategic planning and execution, organizational change management, operational optimization, business acumen, employee engagement and performance, succession planning, data-driven analysis, executive coaching, talent management, and cross-functional collaboration. I have a proven track record of creating and managing large-scale programs, auditing and monitoring policies and practices, initiating cultural transformation, and facilitating key stakeholder engagement in complex and highly regulated work environments. As a certified \"Bold, Inclusive Conversations\" facilitator (Winters Group), SHRM-SCP and Prosci Change Practitioner, I leverage evidence-based frameworks and methodologies to align DEI initiatives with operational KPIs and outcomes. My mission is to address the reality of long-standing systemic racism in organizations, communities, and society, and to enable exceptional organizational culture and social change.
