About Barbara Acevedo Visser
As a coach, I help mid-career professionals gain clarity, increase self-confidence, navigate changes, and make empowered choices so that they can thrive both personally and professionally. In addition to my coaching skills, I bring a strong operational background in communication and program management, writing, speaking, and event planning with deep expertise in employee engagement, change management, and executive communications. I have extensive experience working with diverse, distributed, and virtual teams in large, global organizations where I delivered strong results through effective collaboration, problem-solving and strategic thinking in the high-tech corporate world. I served on the leadership team of the ICF Washington State Chapter for three years, as Vice President, President, and Past President (20••••23), where I led a team of 13 volunteer directors serving an organization of 850+ coach members to support systemic transformation for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
