This role manages a global team of first line managers with an indirect team of project managers and/or project coordinators.* Participates in multiple integration work streams cross-functionally to implement best practices across the organization* Responsible for performance management reviews, goal setting and problem solving strategic initiatives and key priorities to provide operational and strategic leadership and to improve service levels * Provides project management expertise to ensure alignment of the program goals and strategy with clearly defined decision points throughout the programs* Ensures compliance relevant to company SOPs, regulatory guidelines and operates within budget and in accordance with departmental goals and objectives * Responsible for SOP revisions, development of Work Instructions and new tools to enhance job performance* Develops and executes department strategies which includes operational oversight driven by the management team to ensure each team delivers projects within accordance of GxP business and sponsor requirements* Assists in providing accurate forecasting for resource planning and manages resources to meet/exceed budgetary goals* Provides functional updates to senior leadership in a collaborative cross functional environment to support departmental targets and requirements* Engages with internal and external representatives of various levels of leadership and participates and presents at many meetings with internal and external partners* Is a member of GCSG and has presented at several conferences on varying topics from Project, Program, Portfolio Management to RACI implementation.
