I build and protect systems that handle massive scale. For the last several years at Microsoft, I have led architectural work for ENTRA ID, focusing on services that maintain a 99.99% SLA while supporting hundreds of millions of monthly requests.A lot of my recent work has been at the intersection of scale and security. I led a cross-team effort to design and roll out global rate-limiting for a high-traffic service facing significant abuse, which resulted in millions in annual recurring savings. I also collaborate with threat detection teams to build defensive systems, like the email security solution we built to proactively disable phishing links.I enjoy taking legacy bottlenecks and turning them into high-performance engines.
