Manage the Finance function for FP & A and Supply Chain in the European PMO including planning, resourcing, business partnering and execution of projects. Some projects delivered include setting up of European Regional HQ delivering in excess of $500m of savings,$15m Strategy Project for Stryker International to double Revenue and Operating Income by FY 2020 and revised Go to Market Model in Iberia resulting in $4m incremental Operating Income. Controllership for $450m of inventory and $200m of reserves. Introduced improved analytics that has resulted in lowering of inventory by over $20m, Days in Inventory (DII) by 20 days and reduced excess & obsolescence (E&O) expense by $6m in FY 2013.Successfully lead the European FP & A transformation project. Collaborate across the organisation to find process efficiencies and best practices. Lead the centralisation of the FP & A function in Europe including stakeholder assessments and setting up of improved KPIs and reports. This initiative has resulted in excess of man-hours being saved as well as reducing finance cost by 30%.Lead the finance function for acquisition fair value exercises and financial due diligence projects. Ascertain investment value and risk for potential opportunities working closely with external advisors and the business development team. Manage the integration of new business.Lead a team of 6 accountants to provide business analytics and proactive solutions to complex business issues. Communicate analytical results to CXO executives in a non-technical format thus enhancing their ability to make better informed decisions and improve their controls and the risk management environment.
