ABOUT BANDHAN PANDA

I am an Assistant Professor at NIST University with two years of academic and research experience, backed by a consistent track record of excellence in teaching, mentoring, and scholarly work. I completed my B.Tech at GIET Gunupur and earned my M.Tech from OUTR Bhubaneswar, where I further strengthened my foundation in computer science and intelligent systems. I am also a two-time NET-qualified faculty member, reflecting my commitment to academic rigor and subject mastery.I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. at Berhampur University, focusing on Model Compression, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. My research explores efficient deep learning architectures, compression-aware optimization, and scalable AI systems, with the goal of advancing real-world deployments of intelligent models across edge and cloud environments.Alongside my research, I contribute actively to academic development through teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, guiding project-based learning, and fostering innovation-driven thinking among students.
